POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was assaulted on a beach in Poole earlier this month.
The victim was reportedly pinned to the ground and assaulted by another teenage girl known to the victim at around 8pm on Friday, April 5 at Sandbanks Beach.
The victim managed to get away but required medical treatment for her injuries.
PC Sarah Fuller, of Poole Police, said: “This incident occurred at a time when there would have been many people in the area enjoying the weather.

“I would ask anyone who saw what happened – and has not already spoken to police – to please come forward.
“We are carrying out a full investigation into this incident and are also keen to speak to anyone who may have captured any relevant footage to assist our enquiries.”
