Pedestrian suffers injuries in Ferndown hit-and-run

A PEDESTRIAN reportedly suffered minor injuries after they were hit by a car in Ferndown.

Dorset Police said the pedestrian, a woman, was hit at around 8.15am on May 14 by a silver car in Stapehill Road that failed to stop at the scene.

Police Sergeant Neil Hawkes, of East Dorset police, is trying to identify the vehicle and driver involved.

“I would urge any witnesses, as well as any motorists who may have captured any relevant dashcam footage, to please make contact with us,” he said.
