Man was punched unconscious after Poole shop window smashed

POLICE are keen to trace this person after a fight broke out over a broken window in Poole.

The incident happened some time between 12.20am and 12.30am on Sunday morning (April 28).

A Dorset Police spokesperson said the victim – a man aged in his 40s – was involved in an altercation with two men after one of them kicked and smashed a window at the Kitchen Elegance store, in Bournemouth Road.

“One of the men then punched the victim in the head, who was knocked unconscious to the ground,” they added.

“The two men then left shortly after the incident in the direction of Springfield Road.”

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to head and facial injuries.

PC Thomas James, of Poole police, said: “I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of one of the men I would like to identify in connection with this incident.
