GPS trackers and satellite phones stolen as premises raided twice in a weekend

BURGLARS broke into a Poole shop TWICE over a weekend this month.

Police are appealing for information after incidents at Global Telesat Communications, in Nuffield Road, on Saturday, February 3 and Sunday, February 4.

The first incident occurred some time between 11pm and 11.25pm on February 3, when Dorset Police said two suspects gained entry to the premises.

Then, between 7pm the following day and 12.30am on Monday morning, the store was targeted again.

During both incidents, GPS trackers and satellite phones were stolen, including Garmin Inreach Mini 2 GPS trackers, Iridium satellite phones, Thuraya XT-Pro satellite phones, a Garmin GPSMAP and a Garmin Montana.

PC Matt Palmer, of Dorset Police, said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant times.

“Also, if you have seen any of the items listed for sale in unusual circumstances, please contact Dorset Police.”
