Inspired by their learning, pupils from St John’s Church of England First School in Wimborne organised a cake sale to raise money for Rainforest Trust UK. The sale, on the Minster green on March 5, was entirely on their own initiative.
Two of the group are Minster choristers which enabled them to secure the location, where they raised the grand total of £155.
