Wimborne Minster Folk Festival 2023 was one of the largest gatherings of musicians, dancers and entertainers in the South of England, like no other I have seen over the years.
The lengthy procession kicked off on the outside of the packed town with Mayor Diann March leading all the way into the town centre and ending in the square.
The town was alive with folk music, dance performances, concerts and street markets for all the family. It was widely described as ‘the best ever’.
