A WOMAN suffered serious injuries after a crash near Bournemouth Airport on Saturday (July 22).

The incident, involving a dark blue Ford Fiesta and a blue Dodge Caliber, happened on Parley Lane at around 10am.

Police said emergency services attended the scene and the driver of the Caliber, a woman in her 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were believed to be serious but not life-threatening.

PC Kier Dagnall, of the traffic unit, said: “We are carrying out further enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I would like to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.

“I would also urge anyone who was driving in the vicinity around the time of the collision to please check any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
