A CYCLIST suffered ‘serious’ injuries in a crash in Christchurch.
The rider, a woman in her 50s, was knocked off her bike in Wharncliffe Road at around 1.19pm on Thursday (February 9).
The collision involved a blue Ford Fiesta and happened at the junction with Beacon Drive.
PC Sarah Dutton, of Dorset Police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of what happened and would ask any witnesses to please come forward.
“I would also like to appeal directly to any motorists who were travelling in the vicinity around the relevant time to please check their dashcam for footage of the incident or the moments leading up to it.”
