A WOMAN was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Christchurch.
The incident happened in Christchurch Road, at the junction with Hurn Court, at around 12.40pm on Monday (February 19).
The woman, in her 40s and from Christchurch, was hit by a white Isuzu truck. A Dorset Police spokesperson said her injuries were described as “serious but not life-threatening or life-changing”.
The male driver of the vehicle was not injured.
PC Steve Eastwood, of the traffic unit, said: “We are continuing to investigate this collision to establish the full circumstances and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and may have captured relevant dashcam footage.”
