A WIMBORNE nursery has teamed up with the town food bank to help those in need.
As the cost-of-living crisis continues, food banks across the country are seeing increased demand.
The Tops Wimborne nursery has now announced a new partnership with the Wimborne Food Bank, aimed at combating food insecurity and supporting families in need.
The partnership will see pre-school youngsters visit the food bank each month to donate non-perishable food items including canned goods, pasta, rice, and other essentials.

Parents, staff and members of the community are being urged to contribute to the cause by donating non-perishable food items at their centre, located at the Park Community Centre, BH21 2AP.
Hannah Stanyon, deputy manager at Tops Wimborne, said: “We are proud to team up with the Wimborne Food Bank to address food insecurity in our local area.
“At Tops Wimborne, we strongly believe in supporting our community, and this partnership allows us to extend our commitment beyond early education and childcare.
“By collecting donations and raising awareness about this issue, we hope to make a positive impact and help those who need it most.”
