AN established performing choir in West Moors is looking for new voices.

Gospel Voices, based at St Martin’s Church, has been performing for churches and at civic and other events since 2018.

Now, it is looking for fresh members ahead of performances this autumn and winter.

“If the idea of singing gospel style music appeals to you come and give us a try,” said a spokesperson.

“There is no audition, and we start to rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7pm, starting on September 28.”

The choir is also looking to welcome musicians, saxophonists or other brass players, guitarists, percussionists or string players who would be willing to perform in a supporting role at some events.

Christopher Legrand, choir manager, said: “The choir is still available to perform at community, charity and church events, and invites enquiries via the email address.”
