A 16-YEAR-OLD pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment for serious injuries after he was hit by a car in Brockenhurst.
The boy suffered injuries to his pelvis, elbow, arm and collarbone after he was hit by a black Volkswagen Golf on Lyndhurst Road, next to Brockenhurst College, at around 12.40pm on Monday (January 20).
Police said the boy is in a stable condition in hospital and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening at the current time.

The driver is assisting police with enquiries and no arrests have been made.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to get in touch.
“Were you on Lyndhurst Road on Monday afternoon at around 12.40pm?”a New Forest Police spokesperson said.
“Did you see the collision, the moments leading up to it, or the aftermath? Did you see a black Volkswagen Golf with the registration plate ending DLD in the area?
“Do you have dash cam that captured footage that may assist our enquiries?”
