Road bike stolen in raid on Poole garage

A BIKE was stolen from a garage in Poole after two people broke in.

Police are keen to hear from anyone with information after the burglary, at an address in Widdicombe Avenue, at around 1.30am this morning (September 1).

A Dorset Police spokesperson said ‘two men’ entered the garage and stole a Cervelo S-Series Ultegra Purple Chameleon Carbon Road Bike.

PC Julian Forde, of Poole police, said: “An investigation is underway and I would ask anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area to please get in touch.

“If you live in the vicinity and have home CCTV, I would ask you to please check your footage around the time of the incident for anything of relevance.

“Also, I am keen to speak to anyone who has seen a bike matching the one described either discarded or for sale locally in unusual circumstances.”
