UPDATE: A woman who went missing in Wimborne this morning has been found.

Police were keen to trace Karen Gerry, who was last seen in the Leigh Road Car Park at around 10.30am on Monday morning.

Officers have now confirmed she has been found.

“We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal,” a spokesperson said.

POLICE are keen to trace a woman who has gone missing in Wimborne.

Karen Gerry, aged 62, was last seen in Leigh Road car park at around 10.30am this morning (August 21).

She is described as six feet tall with blonde hair that was scraped back with a clip. Karen was wearing blue jeans and a plain blue T-shirt.

Inspector Craig Tiernan, of Dorset Police, said: “Karen can become easily confused and we need to find her urgently to ensure she is safe and well.

“I would ask anyone who has seen Karen, or a woman matching the description given, to please contact Dorset Police.”
