POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a woman was hit by a car in Wimborne last week.
A Mercedes-Benz C220 reportedly hit a pedestrian, a woman in her 40s, on the B3073 Rodway near to the roundabout with Leigh Road at around 5pm last Wednesday (July 30).
The woman was taken to hospital for treatment for a leg injury that is not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

PC Kier Dagnall, of the roads policing team, said: “We are conducting enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision.
“I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, or any motorists who were in the area and may have captured relevant dashcam footage.”
