POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle was stolen from a car park near Wareham.

Officers say the theft happened between 11am and 11.25am yesterdsy (Monday, March 9) at the Higher Hyde Heath car park on Puddletown Road.

The stolen vehicle is a black Ford Ranger fitted with a silver metal roller shutter and the word “VOODOO” printed on the back. Its registration number is YO21NBK.

Police say enquiries are ongoing as they try to trace the vehicle and identify those responsible.

PC Christopher Windows said: “We have been carrying out enquiries into this vehicle theft and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.

“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in Puddletown Road area around the relevant time or has seen a Ford Ranger matching the description given.”
