POLICE are keen to trace these people in connection with a shoplifting incident in New Milton.
The incident unfolded at Tesco, in Caird Avenue, at shortly after noon on Wednesday, September 20.
“It was reported to us that two men had entered the store, picked up 14 electric toothbrushes, two towels and two bags, before leaving again without making any attempt to pay for the items,” a Hampshire Police spokesperson said.
The first person is described as white, around 25, around 5ft 10ins tall with a light, trimmed beard. He was wearing a baseball cap, black coat, red T-shirt, blue jeans and black footwear.
The second is described as white, between 25 to 28 years old, around 5ft 8ins tall, of stocky build. He was wearing a grey Under Armour cap, two-tone jacket, grey combat-style trousers and white trainers.
“We believe the men in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge them, or anyone who knows their identity, to get in touch with us,” the spokesperson added.
“Also, if you have information about this incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
