STUDENTS and staff at a New Milton school are celebrating another strong year of GCSE results today (August 21).
This year’s subject highlights at Arnewood School included biology, chemistry, physics, modern foreign languages, religious studies, computer science, media studies and music.
Some students who stood out incuded Lara Allo, James Whatmore, Nyah Sills, Irys Shinn, Finn Tibbert-Wykvliet, Lois Robinson and Ameila Wilson.
Headteacher Jamie Anderson said: “I am extremely proud of the students and staff who have worked so hard to achieve so much.

“These results are a testament to the ambition our students bring to their learning and the support they receive from everyone around them.
“We look forward to welcoming the majority of students back into Year 12 as they begin the next phase of their education.”

Beyond the classroom, the school offers a flexible curriculum that opens pathways for every student.
It includes partnerships with external providers to deliver vocational opportunities and real-world experience.
Several students will begin apprenticeships next year – taking confident steps towards careers in the electrical and hospitality industries.
