VISITORS to a popular beauty spot are being urged to take extra care after flooding affected parts of the site following recent heavy rain.
Moors Valley Country Park and Forest in Ringwood has confirmed it remains open today (January 27), but warned that some areas are currently under water and conditions may be hazardous in places.
Park managers said several paths, particularly around the lakes and towards Pottern Park, are flooded, and visitors are advised to use alternative routes where possible.
Despite the disruption, the Visitor Centre, Barn Café, toilets and the Play Trail are all open as normal.
However, Adventure Valley has been closed for the day due to the weather conditions.
In an update issued this morning, Moors Valley thanked visitors for their understanding and urged people to take care while moving around the site as flooding continues to affect parts of the park.
