New Forget Me Not Garden in Colehill to remember children lost too soon

A DEDICATED space to remember children and babies who have sadly passed away has opened up in Colehill.

The new Forget Me Not Garden at the Poole and Wimborne Woodland Burial Ground on Greenhill Road in Wimborne offers a place of reflection, remembrance, and comfort for families and the wider community.

It was opened by the Wimborne Mayor councillor Jeff Hart on August 27, who was joined by his wife, the town crier, a representative from Colehill Parish Council, colleagues from the site and members of the local community.

Speaking at the event, Elisa Way burial ground manager said: “The forget me not garden is a truly special place. It will give families a quiet and meaningful space to remember their loved ones, surrounded by the beauty of nature.”
