A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after he suffered serious injuries in a crash near Poole at the weekend.
A blue Renault Clio and a black Yamaha motorbike crashed on the A350 Blandford Road North near the Beacon Hill junction at around 5.59pm on Saturday (May 31).
Dorset Police said the motorbike rider, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital and road closures were put in place to allow emergency services to respond to the incident.

Sergeant Chris Brolan, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are conducting an ongoing investigation into the circumstances of this collision, and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.
“I would also urge motorists who were in the area to please review any dashcam footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.
“Finally, I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding while the road closures were in place.”
