Man, 55, arrested after reports of indecent exposure in West Parley

A 55-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after reports of two incidents of indecent exposure in the West Parley area.

Police are keen to hear from witnesses who saw anything suspicious in the area around West Parley Memorial Hall early on the morning of both Friday, August 2, and Saturday, August 3.

Dorset Police said there were reports of a man exposing himself in the area between 5am and 6.30am on both days.

Following enquiries, a 55-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency and he has been released on police bail as further investigative work is carried out, a spokesperson said.

PC Jessica Burton, of Dorset Police, added: “We are continuing to make enquiries into these incidents, and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during the two mornings in question.

“In particular, I would like to speak to a female dog walker who was seen in the vicinity on the morning of Friday, August 2, at around 6.25am as she may have information to assist our investigation.”
