Lymington man charged with attempted arson

A MAN from Lymington in Hampshire has been charged by police with arson offences.

Robert Kevin Mackay, 41, of Shrubbs Avenue, has been charged with attempt arson with intent to endanger life and attempted arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered.

This follows a reported incident at an address on Shrubbs Avenue, Lymington on Sunday (31 August).

He appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (2 September) and is set to appear at Southampton Crown Court on September 29.
