A DRIVER had a lucky escape after their car exited a carriageway and rolled on the A338 Northbound Spur Road in Christchurch yesterday (March 19).
The 46-year-old driver, a woman from the Bournemouth area, was taken to hospital, and the road was down to just one lane as emergency services attended the scene.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service attended along with the Southwestern Ambulance Service.
“A 46 year old lady from the Bournemouth area was taken by land ambulance to Poole General Hospital for treatment.
“The driver had a lucky escape when the vehicle she was travelling in left the carriageway and rolled.”
