A NUMBER of people needed hospital treatment after a crash in Hurn.
The incident, in Parley Lane, happened at around 10.30pm on Saturday night (January 18) and involved a silver Vauxhall Monaro and a red Toyota Yaris.
“Emergency services attended and the occupants of the Yaris were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were initially believed to be serious,” a Dorset Police spokesperson said.
“It has since been confirmed that the injuries are not life-changing or life-threatening.
“The driver of the Vauxhall was treated at the scene for minor injuries.”
Road closures were put in place as the emergency services responded, they said, which were in place until around 1.45am on Sunday morning.

Sergeant Dave Cotterill, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I am keen to hear from any witnesses to the incident, or the manner of driving of the vehicles involved prior to it.
“I would also urge any motorists who were driving in the vicinity around the relevant time period to please review any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything that might assist our enquiries.
“Finally, I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding while the road closures were in place.”
