SHOPPERS and visitors to Christchurch are being reminded that free parking will be available at five sites across the town centre this Saturday.

From 10am to 6pm, drivers can take advantage of free parking at Bank Close, Mayors Mead, Priory Car Park, Saxon Square and Wick Lane.

The initiative, run by Christchurch & District Chamber of Trade & Commerce in partnership with Aureos and PP Printing, aims to make it easier for people to support businesses during the festive season while enjoying a hassle-free shopping experience.

This is the second consecutive Saturday of free parking and comes in recognition of the disruptions caused by essential roadworks on the bypass this year.

Chamber organisers encourage people to make the most of the offer, explore the town’s shops and get into the holiday spirit without worrying about parking fees.
