Fundraising volunteers from the Forest Holme Hospice in Poole, right, have been presented with a cheque for £1,000, being a donation from the proceeds of the Wimborne Minster Flower Festival which was held in September.
Flower clubs from around Dorset and one from Hampshire took part in the festival which coincided with the Minster’s Patronal Festival and the Blessing of the re-built Minster organ by the Bishop of Salisbury.
In total, the Festival raised more than £10,000 for Wimborne Minster funds in addition to the donation that was given to Forest Holme.
