A FORMER funeral directors in Upton could be converted into a one-bed flat if plans are approved.

Neya Property Holdings Ltd has submitted plans to convert Albert Marsh funeral directors on 2 Moorland Parade into a flat on the ground floor, directly next to the offices of Lytchett Minster and Upton Town Council.

A self-contained flat with its own access can be found on the first floor, but the ground floor has been vacant since the closure of the funeral directors.

The property was previously planned to be converted into a restaurant, but this was withdrawn in 2021.
