POLICE have confirmed a person died at New Milton Train Station over the weekend.
A casualty on the tracks was reported at around 9pm on Saturday (November 16).
The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death has not been confirmed.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner,” a spokesperson for British Transport Police said.
The incident resulted in many hours of train disruptions.
