Verwood Rotary Club’s Rustic Fayre raised just over £12,000.
There were demonstrations with birds of prey, morris dancers and Tae Kwon-do, terrier racing, mini-horses and dog agility. There was even a guest appearance by a very well-behaved dalek!
Club members now have the enjoyable task of dividing all of the funds up to support charities, organisations and activities across the local community.
It is not too late to nominate a local club or charity for a possible donation.
