The West Moors Horticultural Show held its Spring Show in March. It was well supported although, despite the daffodils being late this year there was a superb selection and the show bench looked amazing.

The daffodil championship was won by Bill Howarth together with many cups.
The small growers Daffodil championship sponsored by Brewer and Brewer was won by Tim Hamlet. Floral art best exhibit was Catherine Jenkins. Best exhibit for home craft went to Jean Richardson for her bread pudding. Best exhibit was a framed watercolour by Ray Cook. On May 13 they have a plant sale at the Memorial Hall, West Moors, at 10am.
