Could you give affectionate Magnus a forever home?

A 14-MONTH-OLD German Shepherd is looking for a place to call home.

Each month, Waggy Tails Rescue – based near Poole and Bournemouth – highlights one four-legged friend that is in need of rehoming.

And Magnus is in the spotlight this month.

Described by Waggy Tails as quite large and very playful, he is very friendly towards humans and is affectionate – if, however, a little boisterous.

He knows some basic commands but is very intelligent and keen to learn more, so he will need a home where training can be ongoing.

“Although he is quite partial to treats, so training him won’t be a problem,” a spokesperson said.

Magnus has not socialised with many other dogs at the rescue centre so far, but he is keen to make friends.

His ideal home would be with people who perhaps have experience with larger breeds or German Shepherds and who are keen to carry on his training as well as provide him with the physical and mental stimulation he needs.

Anyone who thinks they can offer Magnus a forever home or a foster home is asked to contact the office on 01202 875000, email admin@waggytails.org.uk or visit the Waggy Tails website www.waggytails.org.uk
