POLICE have issued a CCTV image of a person they would like to trace in connection with an assault in a Poole bar.

The incident, at The Temple in Bournemouth Road, happened at around midnight on Sunday, April 7.

The victim – a man in his 20s and from Wareham – attempted to intervene in an altercation between two groups and was assaulted.

He has sustained a dislocated shoulder and bruising to his face.

PC Joseph McKee, of Poole police, said: “Following enquiries, I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of man I would like to identify.

“I would ask anyone with information about his identity to please contact Dorset Police.”
