CCTV appeal after vodka stolen from Morrisons in New Milton

THREE bottles of vodka were stolen from Morrisons in New Milton.

Police have issued a CCTV image of a person they would like to trace in connection with the theft, which occurred some time between 8.45am and 8.55am on Saturday, August 10.

The person pictured is described as white, around 6ft tall, of slim build and with short dark hair. He was wearing a white or grey jumper, black or dark blue trousers, Nike trainers and carrying a bag.

“We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us,” a Hampshire Police spokesperson said.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”

The appeal comes after another shoplifting incident was reported at nearby Boots Opticians on Sunday, August 11, which saw two pairs of sunglasses taken. A CCTV image was also released in connection with that theft, below.
