CCTV appeal after parcel stolen from New Milton doorstep

POLICE have released an image of a man they want to speak to after a parcel was stolen from a doorstep in New Milton.

The parcel was reportedly stolen between 2pm and 2.05pm on Tuesday, January 14.

The man is described as white, in his 30s, approximately 5ft 9, with dark hair, a beard and moustache and wearing torn jeans and a black padded jacket.

“We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us,” a Hampshire Police spokesperson said.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”

Anyone with information or footage is asked to get in touch with police by calling 101 or by making a report on the Hampshire Police website, using reference 44250019903.
