CCTV appeal after meat worth £150 stolen from Fordingbridge Co-op

POLICE are trying to trace two women in connection with the theft of meat worth around £150 from a shop in Fordingbridge.

The incident occurred some time between 11.35am and 11.45am on Tuesday, August 20, at the Co-op, in the High Street.

Officers investigating the theft have now issued CCTV images of two people they would like to trace.

One of the women is described as white, aged around 25, around 5ft 6ins tall and was travelling in a blue Ford Fiesta.

“We believe the women in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge them, or anyone who knows their identity, to get in touch with us,” a police spokesperson said.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”

Anyone who recognises the people pictured, or has information about the incident, should contact police on 101, quoting incident number 44240357943. They can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
