CCTV appeal after alcohol, scratch cards and lottery tickets stolen in New Milton

POLICE have issued a CCTV image of a person they would like to trace in connection with a shoplifting incident at One Stop in New Milton.

Officers said around £68 worth of alcohol, as well as scratch cards and lottery tickets, were taken from the shop, in Christchurch Road, at between 4.05pm and 4.10pm on Thursday, October 24.

The man police would like to speak to is described as; white, 6ft tall, with black hair and a scruffy beard. He was wearing jeans, high-vis jacket, dark footwear and a beanie hat with goggles on top.

“We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us,” a Hampshire police spokesperson said.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
