A CRASH left a biker with ‘serious injuries’ to his leg.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after the incident, on the A350 north of the Roundhouse Roundabout near Sturminster Newton on Tuesday, October 18.

At around 7.12am, Dorset Police received reports of a collision involving a silver Mitsubishi Space Star and a Suzuki motorcycle.

Officers attended the scene, along with the ambulance service, and the motorcyclist – a Poole man aged in his 30s – was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries to his leg.

Police Constable Dan Yates, of the traffic unit, said: “We are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this collision and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.

“I would also urge anyone who was travelling in the area at the time and has dashcam fitted to please check their footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”
