Bank cards stolen after Poole home broken into

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a break-in at a Poole home earlier this week.

A property in Edward Road was reportedly broken into overnight on Monday (August 25) and Tuesday.

A number of items were stolen in the break-in, Dorset Police said, including bank cards.

The force said that it also received reports of a man trying to open doors in the wider Upper Parkstone area and want to establish if the two incidents are linked.

PC Ryan Greenwell, of Dorset Police, said: “We are conducting enquiries into this burglary and are asking for witnesses or anyone with information to please come forward.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who captured any relevant CCTV or dashcam footage or witnessed any suspicious activity in Edward Road overnight between Monday, August 25 and Tuesday, August 26. Your information could assist our enquiries.

“Further reports have been received of a man trying door handles in the wider Upper Parkstone area over recent weeks. We would like to hear from anyone with relevant information as we carry out enquiries to establish if these incidents are linked.”
