A MAN has been arrested in connection with the alleged theft of an electric bike in Christchurch.
Dorset Police said a 40-year-old man had been arrested after the bike was taken from outside the Captain’s Club Hotel, in Wick Lane, at around 1.30pm on Friday, August 4.
“Following a CCTV appeal and enquiries by officers, a 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft,” a Dorset Police spokesperson said.
“He has been released on police bail as officers carry out further enquiries.”
