Alcohol and more worth £2,000 stolen from Waitrose in Ringwood

ALCOHOL and more worth around £2,000 was stolen from Waitrose in Ringwood.

Police have issued CCTV images of two people they are hoping to trace in connection with the incident, which happened at around 6pm on Thursday, June 13, at the store, in The Furlong.

The first man is described as white, around 5ft 10ins tall, aged in his early 40s, of stocky build, clean shaven with short brown hair. He was wearing a long black jacket, blue denim jeans and white trainers.

The second is described as white, around 5ft 9ins tall, aged in his early 40s, with short dark hair, a goatee beard and tattoos on both arms and the back of the neck.

“We believe the men in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge them, or anyone who knows their identity, to get in touch with us,” a Hampshire Police spokesperson said.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
