A LANDMARK Wimborne cafe was damaged after fire broke out on Tuesday afternoon (February 28).
The blaze was at the Cafe on The Square and was reported at around 1.37pm.
Four fire crews, from Wimborne and Poole were sent to the scene.
“The building was evacuated and firefighters tackled the blaze using three hose reel jets and six breathing apparatus wearers, then continued to conduct further investigations searching for any potential hotspots,” a spokesperson for the Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
It is understood no one was injured in the incident.
