A not for profit food label that’s leading the way for Dorset, Love Local Trust Local, is the brainchild of local farmer’s wife and daughter, Barbara Cossins. Created by farmers for farmers, it is a food label and movement that champions local food producers and Dorset fishermen and farmers.
They also celebrate the very best in local Dorset food and drink production once a year with an annual awards ceremony.
Love Local Trust Local is a not for profit organisation that is entirely self-funded by Barbara and her team of sponsors who are made up of other local Dorset businesses with a shared ethos. From estate agents to furniture makers and solicitors to agricultural colleges, all of them have joined Barbara and the team in order to champion the amazing food production in our county.
The aim of Love Local Trust Local is for people to understand why it’s so important that we eat locally and in season and support our own wonderful food production.
There are 14 possible awards to win, from Honey to Hospitality.
