CCTV appeal after £100 worth of spirits stolen from Waitrose in Ringwood

DO you recognise this man? Police want to speak to him in connection with an alleged shoplifting incident at Waitrose in Ringwood.

The incident unfolded at the store, in The Furlong, some time between 5.50pm and 6pm on Tuesday, February 17, when police said around £100 worth of spirits were stolen and staff members threatened with violence.

“The man we would like to speak to in connection with the incident is described as white, approximately 30 years old, approximately 5ft 11ins tall,” a Hampshire Police spokesperson said.

“We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, or saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, please contact us.”
