POLICE have issued a CCTV image of a man following an assault and attempted theft at a shop in Corfe Mullen.
At around 4pm on Monday, December 15, 2025, a man entered Co-op in Wareham Road and attempted to steal alcohol.
A member of staff intervened, but was pushed into a metal door, sustaining minor injuries that did not require medical treatment.
PC Jared Braid, of East Dorset police, said: “We have been continuing to make efforts to identify the man involved, but this has so far been unsuccessful.
“I am now issuing an image of a man I would like to identify and would ask anyone who recognises him to please come forward.”
