POLICE are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious collision in West Moors last Friday afternoon.
The incident, reported at 1.37pm on January 23, involved a blue Volkswagen Caddy taxi and a silver Ford B-Max at the junction of Station Road and Denewood Road.
A female passenger in her 80s, travelling in the taxi, was taken to hospital with injuries later confirmed to be serious. Her family has been informed.
Sergeant Mike Burt of the Serious Collision Investigation Team said: “We are carrying out a detailed investigation into this collision and I would ask any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.
“I would also make a request to any motorists with dashcam who were in the area around the relevant time to please review their footage for anything that might assist our enquiries,” he added.
