Man punched and kicked in Wimborne pub car park attack

A MAN was punched and kicked by two unknown assailants in a Wimborne pub car park.

Police are appealing for information after an incident outside the Coach and Horses, in Poole Road, at around 10.20pm on Sunday night (January 18).

“The two men were reported to have come from a white van,” a Dorset Police spokesperson said. “The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to head and facial injuries.”

Detective Constable Chloe Norman, of Dorset County CID, added: “We are carrying out fast-paced enquiries into this incident and I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our enquiries.

“I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw a white van in the vicinity or parked in the pub car park around the time of the incident.”
