CCTV appeal after Halloween decoration stolen from gardens in Poole

POLICE have released CCTV of a woman they want to identify following a series of thefts from gardens in Poole.

Dorset Police said it received reports of two women stealing solar powered lights and Halloween decorations from gardens in the Canford Heath area at 11.10pm on October 30.

The pair were reportedly seen getting into a fark-coloured Ford Focus and a man went to challenge them.

They then drove off, with the vehicle’s wing mirror hitting the victim as it drove past. The victim did not sustain any serious injuries.

Police are now appealing to the public to help.

Sergeant Mark Rice, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into these thefts and have obtained an image of a woman we would like to speak to as part of our investigation.

“I appreciate the image is not the best quality, but I would urge anyone with information relating to her identity to please contact us.”
