A HOUSE in the New Forest was partly destroyed in a fire, with three other houses also affected.
Four houses in Bockhampton near Brangsore suffered damage after a fire spread from a nearby field at around 2.30pm yesterday (August 14).
60 firefighters were on scene to try and stop the blaze after the fire service received around 20 999 calls.
One house saw significant fire damage, with its garden, conservatory and rear of the property completely destroyed.
Luckily for the residents, a closed fire door between the rear extension and the man house prevented the fire from spreading to the rest of the property.

While the fire service did not say what caused the fire, they have warned about the hazardous nature of bonfires.
