CCTV appeal after necklace stolen from Lymington store

POLICE have released a CCTV image of a woman they would like to trace in connection with a shoplifting incident in Lymington.

The theft, of a necklace, took place at Between The Lines, in the High Street, some time between noon and 12.30pm on Thursday, October 24.

The woman is described as; White, between 70 and 75, with shoulder-length brown hair with a fringe. She was wearing a leopard print headband, green/brown puffer jacket, dark trousers and boots.

“We believe the woman in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge her, or anyone who knows her identity, to get in touch with us,” a police spokesperson said.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
